The Association tries to collate as much information as possible on the work of its members and to that end keeps a list of research projects carried out in zoos and aquariums. The Research Group holds an annual symposium on Zoo Research the proceedings of which are published each year and available from the Association. BIAZA also compiles lists of species kept in member collections, and these inventories are published each year.
