Species Management in British and Irish Collections
The Joint Working Group Committee (JWGC) oversees the work of a number of Taxon Working Groups (TWGs). The key aims of the TWGs are to progress captive management, husbandry and welfare of species through bringing together interested parties for presentations, workshops and discussion. Each year the JWGC produces a detailed report on the work of the TWGs and this is available from the BIAZA office and on the website. The JWGC is overseen by the Conservation and Animal Management Committee (CAMC). Other sub-committees which work alongside the JWGC are the Research, Records and Veterinary Groups
