| Newquay Zoo |
 |
As Newquay Zoo have no rhinos, they are taking part in a 200 mile bike ride. In order to feel like you are biking in rhino habitat, an exercise bike has been set up in the Tropical House. Staff and visitors will be asked to help clock up the miles in aid of Save the Rhinos . If this fitness was not enough, five members of Newquay Zoo 's staff are taking part in Paignton Zoo's Rhino Slimming Campaign. |

| Whipsnade Wild Animal Park |
 |
Running for Rhinos - Katheryn Baskerville (Colchester Zoo) and Nick Lindsay (ZSL) both completed the London Marathon raising thousands for Save the Rhinos. If that is not enough, Whipsnade Wild Animal Park (part of ZSL) are organising a further 10k run on 18 th June - a stroll in the park for veteran Nick Lindsay! Slightly less energetic is the Rhino Rangers activities being held from 27 th May - 4 th June at Whipsnade Wild Animal Park . The event involves visitors monitoring and tracking rhino in the same way as rangers do in Kenya . On the day, visitors will be given a tracking card as they enter the Park; they will then go to the rhinos, observe the live animal, and photos of Kenyan black rhinos, and mark identifying features they see on their tracking card. They will then go to the Rhino Ranger station and identify each rhino from gallery of rhinos. |

| Marwell Zoo |
 |
Tea and cake for nine rhinos please! Not an everyday order - but it was a special occasion. Marwell Zoological Park was the venue for the UK launch of the EAZA Save the Rhinos Campaign on Friday 5 th May.
Last Thursday two 'rhinos' (costume rhinos provided by Save the Rhino International) were spotted across London , on the South Bank and the Millennium Bridge before making their way to Marwell.
Nine 'rhinos' gathered on Friday for a rhino tea party with a specially made cake in Marwell's rhino enclosure with four real rhinos (Hannu, Sula, Kiri and Shaka) watching from a safe distance! Drummers from Active Arts Community created a perfect atmosphere. |
