| BIAZA expects its members to exceed the SSSMZP. If a collection does not quite come up to the standards that the Association expects of its members – they now have the opportunity to come up to these expectations. The Association now helps collections reach the required standards of membership through a new category of membership – Provisional Member – which gives a potential member the benefit of mentoring during the transition period. |
 |
| The larger the membership the more the Association will accomplish. Remember BIAZA is the voice of zoos and aquariums in Britain and Ireland |
