Animal Management Curriculum Leader

£32,796 - £39,504 per annum (dependent upon qualifications and experience)

Up to 37 hours per week

Sparsholt has a considerable reputation and facilities that are truly representative of the zoo and animal sector.  The post holder will join a team of 5 Curriculum Leaders who lead the staff in the continued improvement of standards of both teaching and learning and pastoral care.   Key to this is supporting the team in their roles and encouraging the implementation of innovative techniques and the robust use of the College’s policies and procedures.

Your focus will be the continuing growth and development of the high-quality teaching programmes provided by the Curriculum area.  This includes supporting the continued development of the academic team and/or supporting the Progress Coaches in providing a high quality of learner-focused support to enable our learners to achieve the highest possible outcomes during their time at the College.

It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of delivering Technical Qualifications in Animal Management.

As part of the role, you will also teach on a broad range of courses but with a reduced teaching load to allow incorporation of these additional duties.
