Rhino Husbandry and Management Workshop

Join us on our first ever Chester Zoo Rhino Husbandry and Management Workshop.

This two-day workshop will look a range rhino husbandry, conservation and management projects across White, Black and Greater one horned rhinos. With topics such as:

• Facility design
• Rhino management
• Rhino husbandry
• Diets/nutrition and body condition
• Keeper development
• Training and Calf interactions

Please note: This workshop is aimed at professional keepers or managers who are currently employed in a zoological collection, therefore please use your organisational email address when booking.

Whilst we have a lot of exciting content planned we would love to hear what you are up to with your rhinos – if you work with rhinos and would like to present about training, research, facility design or any topic on rhinos please email your expression of interest and a brief (200 words) abstract to [email protected]
