Follow your heart to Twycross Zoo this May half term and enjoy a fun filled day out for all the family during Love Your Zoo Week. Meet more than 500 different animals at the award winning conservation charity and be one of the first to enjoy Chimpanzee Eden, a brand new immerse jungle habitat.
During Love Your Zoo Week from 26th May to 3rd June, budding zoo keepers will receive a free Conservation Passport and will be encouraged to collect special stamps as they stop to find out about, and answer questions on the animals on route.
Visitors are invited to enjoy a series of keeper talks and learn all about the animals in their care. The jam-packed calendar of daily talks will cover all sorts of species great and small and include everything from giraffes and elephants to meerkats, lemurs and penguins.
Should the sun shine for the school holiday, children can cool off in Wet ‘n’ Wild, outdoor water play park. For rainy days, Twycross Zoo has you covered with a whole host of indoor experiences including the award winning Gibbon Forest, a tropical Butterfly Farm and warm and welcoming Himalaya Centre featuring a large, soft play area and recently refurbished fully-licensed restaurant.
